Knight muzzleloader?
I have a knight LK-93 .50 muzzle-loader Wolverine. I saw the other day and noticed very tight (1.8!) Groups 100 meters. I had three years and never had a gun groups like this (although with the same load). I was wondering if anyone has had this happen to them. I Hornady XTP-MAG 240 grain .45 caliber black helmets. 100 grains of loose Pyrodex powder.
I have a knight LK-93 Legend, which I think has been replaced by that of Wolverine. It has the same barrel with a wooden stock. I have a 2×7 Redfield scope on it. In Virginia, when I bought the gun, had to use all lead bullets, so I am a gentleman of 260gr. lead bullets with sabots. I Decent Groups with 100 grains of loose Pyrodex, but dropped to 90 grains and my groups revised upward. I tried to bullet provision when it was be legal but could not get the same precision as all the deer and ram shot with lead bullets have been shot I hit kills lead bullet 260gr. 50 meters of the groups are so tight that it looks like a jagged hole. 100 meters of the groups are generally about 2 inches. Sometimes, as close as 1.5 ". Barriles different draw different loads, so if we want to strengthen groups that may able to do so by making small changes in the amount of dust. Sometimes, even a grain 5 Change will make a big difference. From the black powder gun shooting is a relatively large, compared with a center-fire, his gun is capable of playing at a reasonable distance. You seem to have a set of shooting. Good luck with the gun and do not forget to wear eye and ear protection.
